Food Allergy Friendly Summer Camp
June 19, 2012 by jsinger · Leave a Comment
There are some great options in town for food allergy friendly day camps. Both Tate’s Day Camp and
Camp Webb use the same Food Allergy Friendly food service for lunches. It could also be nice to have an
option in town where food allergic kids could be exposed to their own day camp. Anyone out there
interested in helping to make a food allergic kids specific day camp happen- we would be looking for
teenagers for counselors and campers?

FAAN the Food Allergy and Anaphlaxis network has a host of helpful tips for back to school on it’s website. I have heard rumors that Knox County public schools may have some new policies or forms. Can anyone comment here?

Blue Diamond Almond Butter and Milk

Blue Diamond almond butter and milk is advertised as peanut free. The almond butter was recently found at Kroger Marketplace for under $5 for a 12 ounce jar (in the health food section). Both products might be found at other local stores.
